New Music Video ‘Dragon’s Song [Acoustic]’ Out Now!

Fury have just dropped a new single! This one is a collaboration with Luke Appleton (Absolva, Blaze Bayley) where we have used acoustic and orchestral instruments in to ‘folkify’ up a classic fury track… ‘Dragon’s Song’ from the 2016 album ‘Lost In Space’!

Watch the music video here:

Between albums and between permanent guitarists, we wanted to keep busy and try new things. Previous ballad style Fury tracks have been like marmite – fans either love ’em or hate ’em, and we don’t want to let this year pass us by without dividing opinion even more!

On some rare occasions, vocalists Julian Jenkins and Nyah Ifill have performed acoustic Fury sets, and this song was one that always worked beautifully with harmonised dual vocal. As the first single release since Nyah officially joined the band, it feels good for this one to really show off what the vocalists can do.

When Luke got involved with this recording, and I started to hear the demo of how well it was coming together, I was really keen to record some bass on it too. Having joined Fury at the end of 2017, I did not feature on the original recording, but I really love this song and I’m so glad I could play on some version of it.

Please go ahead and stream this song on whatever music platform you use, it all helps!

Digital downloads are available, including on Bandcamp.

For those who prefer a physical copy – bad news, it’s not coming to CD… but good news! It’s coming to vinyl on our forthcoming release of ‘Lost In Space’, the first time this album has ever been printed to vinyl! It will be released in July, but until then you can pre-order it on the Fury webstore!
